Uber takeover rumor swirls around Kakao Mobility as Tesla launches six-seat Model Y L
Questions over business expansion and possible governance changes at Kakao Mobility have surfaced at the same time. As talk emerges of Uber taking management control, Kakao Mobility has continued a profitability improvement trend with operating profit rising for a third straight year. Uber Taxi launched its Premier Van service to target demand for large-vehicle ride-hailing. Tesla is strengthening its push across products, software and services, including introducing a long-wheelbase, three-row six-seat Model Y L in South Korea.
