Chainalysis partly exposes customer data in AI agent hack
U.S. blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis was breached in an attack using AI agents, exposing some customer information, The Hacker News reported on Oct. 31. Chainalysis said an external attacker gained unauthorised access to its systems and internal tools using an “offensive agent technique.” The attacker accessed non-sensitive customer data including user IDs, names, email addresses and organisational role information. The company said investigation materials, credentials and session tokens were not exposed.
