Apple\'s everyday AI features could matter more than Siri
Apple unveiled its next-generation Siri AI at WWDC and applied AI widely to frequently used features such as Safari, Shortcuts, the Photos app, AirPods and parental controls. Some in the industry say these everyday AI additions could feel more useful to users than a conversational Siri. Apple may unveil a new premium laptop, the \'MacBook Ultra\', this fall, according to NineToFiveMac. The device is expected to feature a redesigned, thinner and lighter body than the current MacBook Pro and could carry the Ultra branding instead of being a redesigned MacBook Pro. It may debut Apple\'s M6 chip family, add touch as a secondary input method, adopt OLED for the first time on a Mac, and potentially change the front camera design.

Apple ends support for 16 products in new OS, sharpening upgrade push for older devices
Apple has excluded 16 devices, including Macs, iPads, Apple Watches and Apple TVs, from this year’s next-generation operating system updates. iPhone support remains unchanged in iOS 27 compared with iOS 26, while macOS, iPadOS, watchOS and tvOS drop multiple older models. The last supported versions for affected products include macOS Tahoe and iPadOS 26. Industry views the move as part of a generational shift tied to Apple silicon and expanded AI features.
