Court orders SK Group chairman Choi Tae-won to pay Roh So-young 944 billion won in asset division
A Seoul appeals court ordered SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won to pay 944 billion won to Roh So-young, director of Art Center Nabi, in an asset division ruling. The amount is more than 400 billion won lower than the 1.38 trillion won set by an earlier appeal court. The court included Choi’s SK Inc stake in the assets. The dispute has centred on whether the shares were divisible and which date to use for valuation.

LG Uplus improves app features with customer suggestions, accelerates participatory innovation
LG Uplus is expanding participatory innovation by reflecting customer-proposed ideas in service improvements. The company said ideas submitted through its customer participation service Simple Lab topped 10,000 in cumulative terms in seven months, with 1 in 10 applied to actual service upgrades. It incorporated feedback into functions and user experience improvements in its integrated app U+one, including parental management of children’s mobile bills and a favourites feature.

K Bank launches \'My Kids\' account and savings offering up to 8.5 percent annual rate
K Bank said on Wednesday it launched the \'My Kids\' account and \'My Kids\' savings product. The account is for children aged 0 to under 14 and can be opened remotely by a parent who is a legal representative, with family relations verified through scraping. Parents can monitor and manage the child’s account in real time and set transfer limits. The savings product offers terms of 1 to 5 years and rates up to 7.5 percent, with promotional events running until June 5.
