Apple rumored to discontinue more than 10 products ahead of Sept event
Apple could discontinue more than 10 existing products, including iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods models, ahead of its September product launch event, a report said. The products discussed include 11 models such as the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch Ultra 3, and several home devices. The final list is expected to depend on new products and pricing announced on Sept. 9.

iPhone 18 Pro to be smaller and faster; 6 key changes
Apple’s next premium iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to feature a smaller Dynamic Island and an A20 Pro chip based on a 2-nanometre process. Other changes discussed include an in-house C2 modem, a variable-aperture main camera, possible updates to telephoto hardware and new camera app features. The Pro Max could get a battery about 10 percent larger, while Apple may simplify the camera control button.

Apple\'s iPhone launch event this year is most likely to be held on Sept. 9, with invitations most likely to be announced on Aug. 26, IT outlet 9to5Mac reported. Apple has disclosed its iPhone event schedule 14 days in advance for the past four years. The report said this September event is expected to feature the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max and a first foldable iPhone, amid a CEO transition on Sept. 1.
