Korea Post to issue \'baby animal\' commemorative stamps on Jan. 28
Korea Post said on Tuesday it will issue 480,000 commemorative stamps featuring baby animals on Jan. 28. The four designs are themed around Korean words referring to young animals: gaehoju for a tiger cub, neungsoni for a bear cub, dongburegi for a calf old enough to grow horns, and aedot for a one-year-old pig. An official said recording such terms helps preserve cultural diversity and ecological sensitivity.
