Bank of America to commit $250 billion to U.S. AI infrastructure, focusing on data centers and power
Bank of America will commit $250 billion over the next 18 months to building infrastructure in the United States, with a focus on AI infrastructure including data centers, semiconductors and power generation. The initiative runs from Jan. 1, 2026 to July 4, 2027 and is not a single new fund. The bank will allocate money across digital infrastructure, energy and power, and core infrastructure, and expects tens of thousands of jobs.

Mara posts $611.3 million Q2 net loss hit by bitcoin price drop
Bitcoin miner Mara (MARA) swung to a net loss of $611.3 million in the second quarter, hurt by a 28 percent drop in the average bitcoin price. The company said its quarterly bitcoin output was the highest in more than a year, but the price decline outweighed a 3 percent increase in production. Mara held 35,577 bitcoin worth $2.1 billion at fair value as of June 30. It is also expanding AI and HPC infrastructure.

Hana Securities to cooperate with IPARK Hyundai Development on productive finance
Hana Securities will work with IPARK Hyundai Development to promote productive finance and strengthen competitiveness in advanced strategic industries. The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding, Hana Securities said on June 4. They plan to build a cooperation framework linking financial and development capabilities for major projects and future growth industries. Cooperation will cover funding support, investment and fund formation, as well as collaboration on large public offerings and energy and power projects.
