Hana Securities will cooperate with IPARK Hyundai Development to promote productive finance and strengthen competitiveness in advanced strategic industries. It plans to combine financial and development capabilities to expand cooperation models in major projects and future growth industries.

Hana Securities said on June 4 it signed a memorandum of understanding with IPARK Hyundai Development to promote productive finance and strengthen competitiveness in advanced strategic industries.

The two companies plan to build a mutual cooperation framework and pursue cooperation models linking financial and development capabilities in major projects and future growth industries.

Under the agreement, they will cooperate on funding support, investment and fund formation to promote productive finance. They will also pursue collaboration on major projects such as public offerings and on energy and power generation projects.

Cooperation will also include sharing information on market and financial industry trends, business cooperation using affiliates of Hana Financial Group, and pursuing joint businesses and cooperation tasks as agreed by the two companies.

Hana Securities plans to support fundraising and financial structuring for major project businesses and energy and power generation businesses based on its overall capital market capabilities.

Hana Securities CEO Kang Sung-mook (강성묵) said, "This agreement is a starting point for creating new national growth engines through productive finance and contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of advanced strategic industries." He added, "We will serve as a financial partner based on our differentiated financial solution capabilities."
