KB Kookmin Bank\'s KB Kookmin Certificate users top 18 million

KB Kookmin Bank said cumulative users of its private authentication certificate, KB Kookmin Certificate, have surpassed 18 million. The bank said the user base has expanded since the certificate was recognised as an electronic signature certification service provider in 2021. Users rose by 1 million in a year, after topping 17 million in August last year. The certificate can be issued without visiting a branch and is used for authentication, e-signatures and identity verification.

KISA to hold ransomware resilience conference to discuss prevention and recovery strategies

Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) said it will hold the fifth Ransomware Resilience Conference with the Ministry of Science and ICT on Sept. 16 in Seoul. The event will share the importance of end-to-end response, including preventing damage spread, restoring core operations and preventing reinfection after incidents. It will cover evolving threats, response strategies, AI-based analysis and industry cases. KISA reported 145 ransomware victim reports in the first half.

Webcash to launch B2B vibe coding platform AXPort in September

B2B finance AI firm Webcash is recruiting companies and employees to join an early-bird program for its B2B vibe coding platform AXPort through Aug. 31. Scheduled for formal launch in September, AXPort is designed to let non-coding business workers build work web and app tools through natural-language conversation. It includes a browser-based IDE, security and governance controls, automated deployment and sharing features. The early-bird program covers five companies and 20 employees.
