Bitcoin rebound fails to lift mining profits, gains limited
Bitcoin has climbed to around $86,000, but profitability gains for miners remain limited after the latest difficulty adjustment. Revenue per unit of computing power is estimated to be about 2.65 percent above the prior baseline, based on price, difficulty and recent network hashprice. Fee income has contributed little, accounting for about 0.45 percent of rewards in a recent 144-block sample. Attention is turning to the next difficulty adjustment, currently estimated to decline by 2.48 percent, though the estimate is still early.

Mark Cuban says next investment boom will be AI chips, not bitcoin
Billionaire investor Mark Cuban (마크 큐반) has singled out high-performance chips for artificial intelligence as the next focus of investment mania. He wrote on X that chips could become a new crypto-like asset class. Cuban referred to high-performance GPUs used to run AI and said computing hardware could stand as an independent investment asset class as AI growth changes perceptions of chips. Crypto figures pushed back, and Cuban’s views on bitcoin have shifted repeatedly over time.

Why the AI boom cannot bring down bitcoin: inflation, scarcity
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong (브라이언 암스트롱) rejected claims that an AI boom could bring down bitcoin. He said the bitcoin network would keep operating normally even if miners shift to AI computing because mining difficulty adjusts automatically. Armstrong also said bitcoin’s price is driven not by electricity costs for mining but by global inflation concerns, arguing demand for a scarce digital asset can persist regardless of power use.
