Igloo Corporation secures four cloud, AI security patents

Igloo Corporation said on Monday it has secured four patents designed to address security blind spots in cloud-native environments and improve the operational efficiency of AI security systems. The company said two cloud security patents target internal network blind spots in Kubernetes environments and support verification of container data integrity. The other two patents focus on improving data search accuracy and preventing system processing delays.

Elice Group to build modular AI data center based on Nvidia B300

Elice Group plans to build a modular AI data center equipped with 2,560 Nvidia B300 graphics processing units, using a hot-water cooling method and outside-air cooling technology. The company said it was selected to participate in a government-backed program led by the Ministry of Science and ICT and NIPA to strengthen AI computing resource use. It targets a power usage effectiveness of about 1.1 and will deploy 640 GPUs in each of four buildings.

LG Electronics steps up companywide AI work innovation drive, selects 5 projects at hackathon

LG Electronics said it held its first-half AX hackathon to identify work-innovation tasks using AI. About 2,100 employees took part and submitted more than 700 ideas. After two months of screening and verification, the company selected five projects, including a 24-hour autonomous work system for software development. Other projects aim to automate packaging design, improve logistics and SCM analysis, cut administrative work time and generate advertising content.
