Storj Labs files for bankruptcy protection, seeks way for token holders to take equity
Storj Labs, a decentralised storage provider, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the United States. It said it will maintain network operations and customer service during restructuring and is considering a plan to allow STORJ token holders to participate in equity of the reorganised company. The firm said most of its debt predates its current strategy and is too large to resolve through growth alone.

ITmedia reported CXMT’s monthly DRAM wafer output exceeded 100,000 in 2024, with existing plants operating close to maximum. The company’s output rose steadily from 2019 and reached 1.62 million wafers in 2024, lifting it to No. 4 globally with about 5 percent share.

Bitcoin mining pool Poolin filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the United States and began a process to sell two West Texas mining sites for $52 million as part of a creditor recovery program. Cointelegraph reported that Poolin and two U.S. affiliates filed on July 23 in a New Jersey court. Court filings put liabilities at $100 million to $500 million and assets at $1 million to $10 million.
