Zama, Morpho to launch stablecoin yield product without balance disclosure on June 23
Crypto infrastructure firm Zama, DeFi protocol Morpho and asset manager Stakehouse Financial are launching a DeFi product on Ethereum for the confidential USDC stablecoin. The Stakehouse Confidential USDC Prime Vault allows holders of Zama’s cUSDC token to deposit directly into Morpho’s existing Stakehouse USDC Prime Vault without exposing balances, transaction amounts or strategies on-chain. Deposits begin June 23 via the Zama app.

Zama acquires TokenOps to keep institutional token allocations confidential with fully homomorphic encryption
French cryptography company Zama has acquired TokenOps, an enterprise token lifecycle management platform. The Block reported Zama is developing confidentiality protocols for public blockchains such as Ethereum and Solana. Zama said the deal aims to remove signaling and front-running risks that arise because information on public blockchains is disclosed by default. Token issuers will be able to execute allocation, distribution schedules and recipient identities on-chain in encrypted form using the ERC-7984 confidential token standard.

South Korea is re-emerging as an altcoin-focused trading hub in the global cryptocurrency market, with domestic exchanges showing a clear pattern of altcoins leading price formation and liquidity. Cryptopolitan reported that Korean exchanges account for about 30 percent of global trading volume, with roughly 85 percent concentrated in altcoins. The won-based market structure helps create independent liquidity in specific tokens, and activity in some names has coincided with jumps in global derivatives open interest.
