KT unveils five Gen Z trend keywords for 2026
KT said on Aug. 21 it selected five Gen Z trend keywords at the \'2026 Y Trend Conference and Customer Listening Forum\' held a day earlier at its Gwanghwamun building in Seoul. The keywords are NetWHATking, Scroll Pick, Balansheim, Present-in-Progress Power and Try-ator. The annual event is co-hosted with KT’s student marketing supporters, Y Futurist, and the Univ20s Lab, and also includes a customer listening forum.

KT launches Customer Protection 365 task force to strengthen prevention-focused safeguards
KT launched a new task force as it shifts to a prevention-focused customer protection system. The company said the Customer Protection 365 task force was created to enhance a customer value protection framework, with key initiatives including AI-based real-time detection, a one-stop resolution centre and on-site customer listening forums. KT said it will gradually expand safety services such as real-time voice phishing detection and AI context-based spam blocking.

KT holds KT Square Everyone\'s Canvas contest
KT said on Thursday it will hold the \"KT Square Everyone\'s Canvas\" contest, open to anyone. The three-week submission period runs until March 8 via the contest page on KT.com. Participants submit a diary-style text and one image under the theme \"My story in 2046\". Science communicator and YouTuber Orbit and author Cheon Seon-ran will serve as judges, along with KT’s college marketing supporters Y Futurist. Winners will receive cash prizes, and selected works will be aired at KT Square in April.
