Predictive security models hit limits as shadow AI SaaS risks rise
Security companies are issuing reports on cyber threat trends, and two drew attention this week from Rapid7 and Grip Security. Rapid7 said defenders are finding it harder to keep up as attackers weaponise disclosed vulnerabilities within days, leaving little time to patch. Grip Security warned that AI embedded in SaaS applications can create risks outside enterprise control, and a breach of one AI-enabled app can spread across other AI environments and potentially to other organisations.

Xbox One security compromised as \'unhackable\' myth collapses
Microsoft\'s Xbox One, long seen as difficult to hack since its 2013 launch, is facing questions about potential security weaknesses after a hardware hacking method using voltage fluctuations was disclosed. Security researcher Markus Doom Gaasedelen revealed a technique dubbed Bliss at the RE//verse 2026 conference. The method targets the boot ROM and is described as unpatchable through software updates. It applies only to early Xbox One models and requires skilled hardware modifications.

Gravity launches turn-based RPG \'Wiseman\'s World Retry\' globally
Gravity said on Feb. 19 it officially launched its new turn-based RPG \'Wiseman\'s World Retry\' globally. The title is an HD remaster of the JRPG \'Wiseman\'s World\' released in 2009 by Japanese developer Jaleco. Gravity said it kept the original dot-graphics feel while improving resolution and adding new background music and arrangements, and optimized the UI and gameplay. It is priced at 32,000 won.
