Ripple says tokenised volumes to shift to public blockchains, XRPL to add institutional features in October
Ripple expects tokenised transaction volumes to shift from private to public blockchains and is expanding the XRP Ledger as an institutional tokenisation infrastructure. Ripple President Monica Long said “public” when asked where future tokenised volumes would accumulate. Ripple is adding features used in private chains, including confidential transfers and delegated permissions. Delegated permissions are due on Oct. 8, with batch-related updates targeted for mainnet activation on Oct. 9, subject to validator support.
