Woori Financial launches Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games cheering campaign narrated by IU
Woori Financial Group is launching a campaign to support South Korea’s national team athletes and sports prospects competing at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. The group said it will release a new cheering campaign video on Sept. 18 as an official sponsor of Team Korea, narrated by IU. It will also operate a Team Korea fan park at an event in Gwacheon on the Games’ opening day.

Bespin Global begins Woori Financial Group\'s AI research environment operations project
Bespin Global said on Sunday it has won Woori Financial Holdings’ project to operate an AI research environment. The company plans to build an AWS-based standalone research architecture to enable testing and validation of technologies such as generative AI and large language models under financial-sector network separation regulations. It will also use its HelpNow AI Foundry platform to link and validate models and services and support governance for AI agent operations.

NHN Dooray secures about 20 financial firms as SaaS clients, to expand with AI agents
NHN Dooray said on Jan. 28 it secured about 20 domestic financial companies as SaaS customers in the year since entering the financial sector. It said Woori Financial Group is rolling out Dooray in stages across 15 affiliates, including Woori Financial Holdings and Woori Investment Securities. Dooray integrates project tools, mail, messaging and e-approval in one app and can be used on financial intranets without separate SI work. The company plans AI agents in 2026.
