Korea opens Daegu testbed to speed commercialisation of wireless power transfer
South Korea has set up a demonstration base to support commercialisation of wireless power transfer technology used in electric vehicles, robots and industrial equipment. The Ministry of Science and ICT held an opening ceremony on Oct. 1 at Kyungpook National University’s Dalseong Campus in Dalseong County, Daegu, with about 100 industry, academia, research and government participants. The testbed includes indoor and outdoor facilities and equipment to test wireless charging systems and components.
