Minecraft revises system requirements for first time in 17 years, recommended memory raised to 16GB
Mojang Studios, a Microsoft unit, has sharply raised the minimum and recommended system requirements for Minecraft: Java Edition for the first time in 17 years. Recommended memory increases to 16GB from 4GB, while graphics requirements move from OpenGL to hardware supporting Vulkan 1.3. Minimum specs target 1080p at 30 FPS, and recommended specs target 1080p at 60 FPS. Mojang said older PCs may still run the game for now but without guarantees.

Samsung Electronics launches Samsung Browser for PC
Samsung Electronics on March 26 launched the PC version of its Samsung Browser, about 4 months after running a beta program in South Korea and the United States from October. The company said users can now use the browser on PCs as well as mobile devices. The PC version shares data such as bookmarks and browsing history across devices in real time and supports Samsung Pass syncing for autofill. It also includes agentic AI features built with Perplexity.

Windows 11 finally adds taskbar move feature
Nearly 5 years after Windows 11 launched, many users have missed Windows 10\'s ability to move the taskbar. Microsoft plans to add the feature to Windows 11. An update will let users move the taskbar from the bottom of the screen to a preferred position. Microsoft also plans to add a taskbar size adjustment option, enabling customization without third-party apps. The update is expected this summer.
