Woori Financial opens financial town in Jeonbuk Innovation City
Woori Financial Group has opened the Jeonbuk Woori WON Financial Town in Jeonbuk Innovation City, completing the presence of the four major financial groups’ regional hubs there. The complex brings together functions spanning capital markets, corporate finance and inclusive finance, housing units from Woori Asset Management, Woori Bank and other affiliates. Woori plans to supply 1.6 trillion won in funding to local small firms and merchants by 2030.

KT Millie expands audiobook content, targets listening-and-reading ecosystem
KT Millie said on May 29 it is diversifying audiobook content and revamping its platform to expand its reading ecosystem. The company is combining audiobooks with text-based reading experiences through cooperation with publishers. It released an e-book version of author Kim Geum-hee’s audiobook “First Summer, Wanju.” The strategy is extending to its reading podcast and to service changes for children and teens, including a revamped kids audiobook page and expanded curated recommendations.

IMI sponsors cultural arts programme at Jeonbuk Maeum Sarang Hospital
IMI said on Wednesday it delivered funding to Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Maeum Sarang Hospital to support cultural and arts programmes aimed at helping psychiatric patients recover. The sponsorship is part of IMI\'s social contribution initiative, the \"Possibility On\" project, which runs from April 15 to November. IMI will cover materials and prizes for exhibitions. The programme targets children, teenagers and adults in their 60s suffering severe mental illnesses such as addiction and depression.
