Anthropic declares unauthorised share trades void, jolting private AI stock market
Generative AI startup Anthropic said it will void all over-the-counter trades of its shares conducted without explicit board approval and will not record them in company books. The policy also covers beneficial-interest deals, forwards, SPVs and tokenised securities structures. Some trades on Forge Global and Hiive and a list of unapproved intermediaries were cited. The move comes as implied off-market valuations have risen to around $1 trillion, lifting investor anxiety.

Japan memecoin named after Takaichi draws row, raises suspicions of PM office prior knowledge
Suspicions have resurfaced that Japan\'s prime minister\'s office had prior knowledge of a memecoin called Sanae Token. BeInCrypto reported on April 7 that market attention has shifted to whether the episode will accelerate or complicate a regulatory overhaul. The token, launched on Solana on Feb. 25, surged more than 40-fold before falling 58 percent after Sanae Takaichi denied being notified. Weekly Bunshun reported a developer said Takaichi\'s office was informed.
