AI context layers meant to curb wrong answers linked to higher error reporting
Companies that introduced governance-based context layers to prevent AI agents from producing wrong answers are reporting a higher rate of errors, a report cited by VentureBeat showed. Over the past six months, 68 percent of companies said confident AI-agent answers were wrong because company-related information was missing or incorrect, up from 57 percent in June. The share running governance layers rose to 32 percent from 25 percent, while repeated errors were also more common.
