Hecto WalletOne, WiseCare partner on stablecoin wallet infrastructure for clinics, hospitals

Hecto WalletOne, a blockchain wallet infrastructure company, and electronic payments and fintech firm WiseCare have signed a partnership to develop stablecoin wallet infrastructure and digital payment services for clinics and hospitals, Hecto WalletOne said on Thursday. Under the deal, WiseCare will introduce Hecto WalletOne’s in-app wallet, O-HI Wallet, into its app to improve global customer payment access and convenience. The companies plan to jointly commercialise a model linking wallets and digital payments for medical settings.

HectoWalletOne launches USDC subscription plan to cut multichain burden

HectoWalletOne said on May 15 it will launch a USDC-only pricing plan, called the USDC kit, to meet rising demand for Circle\'s dollar stablecoin. The plan offers Octet APIs for building USDC infrastructure on a single monthly subscription. It supports six networks including Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum and Sui, aiming to reduce multichain infrastructure costs. HectoWalletOne also plans to respond to demand tied to Circle Payments Network use.

AhnLab Blockchain Company obtains VASP licence

AhnLab’s blockchain subsidiary AhnLab Blockchain Company (ABC) said on Wednesday it has obtained a virtual asset service provider (VASP) licence from South Korea’s Financial Intelligence Unit for virtual asset custody and transfer. ABC said it completed acceptance of its VASP filing for a custody service that stores and manages customer assets and transfers them following internal approval procedures. ABC said the approval provides a legal basis to expand Web3 financial infrastructure services.
