AI takes different personalities by language, tests of five models show
A study found that running the same personality test on large language models can yield different results depending on the language used for answers. Researchers tested five AI models with the 60-question Big Five Inventory-2 in English and Chinese, and added French for Le Chat. Models generally rated themselves as agreeable and reliable with low negative emotionality, but scores differed by language. The researchers said the causes were unclear and scores may not reflect real conversation ability.

Older Google model beats latest GPT and Claude in skin cancer test
Latest general-purpose AI models recorded lower accuracy than Google’s Inception v3 image recognition model released in 2016 in a skin lesion diagnosis experiment. Researchers compared GPT-6 Astra, Claude Fable 5.1 and Inception v3 using 200 lesion images split between cases needing treatment and those requiring no action. Inception v3 led overall and in melanoma identification. The study said differing training conditions limited interpretation and larger validation and safety assessments are needed for clinical use.

Dogecoin launches Dogecoin Labs to build ecosystem
Dogecoin has launched Dogecoin Labs, a new organisation dedicated to building its ecosystem. The revamp was carried out with the Dogecoin Foundation and focuses on expanding practical use cases. Dogecoin Labs will consolidate products, intellectual property and development teams and will run MyDoge, the DogeOS platform and the Such App merchant payments tool. Assets and staff were transferred from the Dogecoin Foundation and House of Doge.
