AI cost concerns surge as OpenAI, Anthropic step up South Korea push
More companies are restricting employee use of AI tools after widely rolling them out, citing rising costs. UCLIX opens Google Gemini Enterprise Experience Center
AI and data company UCLIX said on June 19 it opened the Google Gemini Enterprise Experience Center to support corporate adoption of generative AI. The centre lets business customers experience Gemini Enterprise-based AI services in real work environments and verify expected benefits for on-the-job deployment. It offers customer-tailored workshops and proof-of-concept programmes, providing an end-to-end model that can lead from testing to actual application in operations.

UCLIX hires CEO Kim Jung-in from McKinsey, Hyundai Card
AI and data company UCLIX said on Monday it has hired Kim Jung-in, a former McKinsey & Company partner and Hyundai Card vice president, to strengthen strategic consulting to support corporate AI transformation. Kim led projects spanning corporate strategy, risk management, digital transformation, mergers and acquisitions and innovation, and later held senior roles at Hyundai Card. UCLIX said it aims to build businesses embedding AI across management strategy and organisational change, led by its Aify brand.
