Roswell, the UFO city, holds donated bitcoin for at least 10 years
Roswell, New Mexico, is running an ordinance that prevents the city from selling bitcoin donations for at least 10 years, according to reports. Its bitcoin reserve totals 0.173 BTC, valued at about $13,312. The reserve was built through donations starting in April 2025. The ordinance also limits annual spending to within 21 percent even if the reserve exceeds $1 million, and allows expenditures only once every five years.

Anduril valuation doubles to $61 billion ahead of IPO after $5 billion funding
U.S. defence technology startup Anduril has raised $5 billion, lifting its valuation to $61 billion, double its previous $30.5 billion, as it approaches an initial public offering. The funding round was led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz. Anduril plans to spend the proceeds on manufacturing, research and infrastructure. CEO Brian Schimpf said the company will invest aggressively to expand defence system production for the United States.
