ELS fines cut to 600 billion won after local elections, financial policy in focus

Toss Insurance introduces system to handle black consumers, protect agents
Toss Insurance will introduce a system to improve the counselling environment to protect its insurance agents. The company said on June 1 it will implement a \"black consumer response system\" so agents can focus on customer consultations and coverage planning in a stable environment. Under the system, if an agent faces excessive burden from repeated exposure to improper language or conduct, the agent can request to stop handling the customer and have headquarters respond.

Toss Insurance confirms third term for CEO Cho Byung-ik (조병익)
Toss Insurance said on March 30 it approved the reappointment of its incumbent CEO, Cho Byung-ik (조병익), at a regular shareholders meeting held on March 27. His new term will run for 2 years from April 1. Cho took office in 2019 and, after two reappointments, will lead the organisation for 10 years through 2028. The company said shareholders’ decision reflects trust in his leadership.
