Tom Lee formalises cap on BitMine Ethereum holdings at 5 percent of supply
BitMine Immersion Technologies has set a cap on its Ethereum holdings at 5 percent of total supply. Chairman Tom Lee (톰 리) said at Token2049 in Singapore that the company has accumulated about 6 million ETH, roughly 4.9 percent of total supply, and needs about 100,000 more ETH to reach its target. He said the cap reduces the need to raise further capital for additional purchases and noted holdings could still rise via staking rewards.

Coinbase to revive Coinbase Pro by year-end, launch Global Exchange platform with Deribit
Coinbase will bring back Coinbase Pro by year-end and will also complete its integration with Deribit under a platform called Coinbase Global Exchange, The Block reported. The revamped Coinbase Pro will offer trading in spot, futures, perpetual futures, options and stocks, alongside faster order routing and advanced tools for high-volume traders. Coinbase said it will connect qualified U.S. customers to overseas crypto derivatives markets via its U.S.-regulated futures brokerage subsidiary.

Hoskinson says ADA has no issues, Cardano ecosystem development funding to top $100 million this year
Cardano can deploy more than $100 million for ecosystem development this year despite its drop in market-cap rankings, founder Charles Hoskinson said. He said the network’s on-chain treasury continues to generate funds needed for long-term growth. Spending could cover software development, infrastructure upgrades, research, developer tools and education programs. Hoskinson said more than 30 to 40 companies have received support, reducing reliance on Input Output Global.
