Google NotebookLM expands AI video features with 60-second shorts
Google has added a feature to its research tool NotebookLM that creates 60-second vertical AI summary videos based on uploaded sources. The rollout will be phased in for Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers, The Verge reported. Google described the output as a “TikTok-style AI video” built from user-provided materials. Users select Video and Shorts in the Studio menu and choose or enter a topic. The feature is currently available only in English, with free-user support planned later.

Netflix said the core of its marketing for Korean content is the story. Kim Mi-hoo (김미후), a director in Netflix\'s Korea marketing division, said the key is for good stories born in Korea to reach people worldwide and create bigger cultural moments. She introduced a “Conversation-First” strategy aimed at getting the world to talk about K-content. Netflix cited global social channels and said it has more than 1.4 billion social media followers.

ByteDance unveils Seedance 2.5 AI video generation model for up to 30-second clips
ByteDance, the Chinese technology company that operates TikTok, unveiled its new AI video generation model Seedance 2.5 at a conference in Beijing on June 23. The upgraded model can generate videos up to 30 seconds long and allows users to include up to 50 reference files such as images, video and audio, up from 12 in Seedance 2.0. ByteDance plans to launch Seedance 2.5 in China in July.
