CJ ENM to set up joint venture with Japan\'s TBS, U-NEXT HD to target global content market
CJ ENM said on Thursday it will set up a joint venture, StudioMonowa, with Japan\'s TBS and U-NEXT Holdings to target the global content market. It plans to build a content value chain spanning planning and development, production, distribution and IP expansion. South Korea\'s Broadcast Media Communications Commission approved conditional renewals for 17 radio stations run by three broadcasters, setting licence validity at three years. The commission said the stations previously scored below 650 points in renewal evaluations and underwent hearings under administrative procedures.
