Nintendo pre-warns of Switch2 price hike in September, \'cheaper to buy now\'
Nintendo will raise the Switch2 price to $499.99 from $449.99 starting Sept. 1, TechRadar reported. The company is pre-notifying consumers through in-store kiosks, drawing attention for its advance notice. The increase is linked to a memory supply crunch and a broader DRAM shortage affecting hardware makers. Prices are also set to rise in Britain and Australia. Some Reddit users reacted positively to the early notice.

Shift Up Q2 operating profit 28.1 billion won, down 58.8 percent on year
Shift Up said on Monday its second-quarter consolidated operating revenue was 55.7 billion won and operating profit was 28.1 billion won, with net profit of 41.7 billion won. Revenue, operating profit and net profit rose from the previous quarter, but all fell from a year earlier. The company said the year-on-year decline was largely due to base effects following the PC version launch of \"Stellar Blade\" in the second quarter of last year.
