GPT-5.5 suggests event scenario; Sam Altman calls it \'weird emergent behavior\'
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman (샘 알트먼) said GPT-5.5 suggested how to run a new-model launch event, including a date, a short speech and a toast led by human developers rather than AI. He said the model also proposed setting up a place to gather feedback for GPT-5.6 and feeding those ideas back into improvements. Altman described it as “weird emergent behavior.” Stripe CEO John Collison shared a similar internal AI agent example.
