KakaoMap to offer dedicated map for Octoberfest Seoul 2026
Kakao said on Thursday it will offer a dedicated map for Octoberfest Seoul 2026 on KakaoMap in cooperation with Deutsche Oktoberfest Korea. The event, officially approved by the city of Munich, will be held in South Korea for the first time from Sept. 12 to 21 at the Oil Tank Culture Park in Seoul’s Mapo district. Users can view venue layout, booth locations, menus and facilities, and share real-time updates via the app’s on-site chat function.

BTS’ comeback performance in Gwanghwamun drew attention, with Netflix saying 18.4 million people watched the live broadcast in a single day.
