Reddit introduces \'human verification\' system to block AI bots
Reddit is introducing a system that requires suspected accounts to undergo “human verification” to curb the spread of AI bots. The measure will not apply sitewide and will be triggered only when activity patterns indicate possible automation. Reddit will detect bots by analysing account activity and technical indicators, and accounts that fail verification will be restricted. Posts written using AI are not banned, and communities can set their own rules.
