Wemade posts third straight quarterly operating profit, eyes new titles and China to lift profitability

Wemade said on Monday it posted first-quarter revenue of 153.3 billion won, operating profit of 8.5 billion won and net profit of 19.9 billion won, marking a third straight quarter of operating profit since the third quarter of 2025. It said revenue was led by games and boosted by licence income after a royalty dispute over The Legend of Mir 2 in China ended in settlement. Wemade also cited growing blockchain revenue and outlined plans for new game launches, a push into consoles and preparations for China releases.

Wemade teams up with BDACS to build standard model for stablecoin payments

Wemade signed an MOU on April 21 with digital asset custodian BDACS to develop a stablecoin payment model and cooperate on business. The two will link Wemade’s won stablecoin-only mainnet, StableNet, with BDACS’ corporate custody wallet. StableNet lets users pay transaction fees in won stablecoins without a gas token and supports KYC and AML compliance solutions. They also plan to jointly design reserve management and short-term custody asset operation architecture.

Wemade unveils \'Stablenet Wallet\' for won stablecoin

Wemade on Feb. 26 unveiled Stablenet Wallet, a test wallet that lets users experience the ecosystem of its won stablecoin-dedicated mainnet, Stablenet. The company said it focused on implementing real-world won value and everyday financial activity on blockchain while improving usability to match traditional finance apps. Features include monthly automatic transfers, address book management with QR sharing, and real-time push alerts. Applications are accepted via Stablenet\'s official website.
