Hana Financial holds Incheon mid-career re-employment fair with on-site interviews at 20 firms
Hana Financial Group held a job fair in Incheon to support re-employment for mid-career job seekers, with 20 local small but strong companies taking part. The event offered one-on-one on-site interviews and programs to help participants gain digital work experience and prepare for job searches. It also provided AI-based assistance such as resume writing and mock interviews, along with retirement-related financial counselling.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics, LG Innotek face off over next-generation substrates at KPCA
Samsung Electro-Mechanics and LG Innotek are unveiling new semiconductor package substrate technologies at KPCA Show 2026 in Incheon from Sept. 9 to 11. Samsung Electro-Mechanics is exhibiting five items including 2.5D and 2.1D package substrates, glass substrates and automotive FCBGA. LG Innotek is debuting an AI accelerator FC-BGA and plans mass production of high value-added FC-BGA for AI training and inference in 2027. Both are accelerating glass substrate development.

KT applies AI to urban air mobility traffic control, unveils 5G aviation network technology
KT is showcasing key technologies for commercialising urban air mobility, including an AI-based traffic management platform and a 5G aviation network, at the 2026 Korea Drone and UAM Expo in Incheon. As part of the K-UAM One Team, it is running a joint booth with Hyundai Motor, Hyundai Engineering & Construction, Incheon International Airport Corp and Korean Air. KT said its platform analyses flight data in real time to detect anomalies and support controller decisions.
