Factorial teams up with Japan\'s Mitsui Mining & Smelting to speed mass production of all-solid-state batteries
U.S. all-solid-state battery company Factorial Energy is partnering with Japan’s Mitsui Mining & Smelting to broaden commercialisation of sulfide-based all-solid-state batteries. The companies will combine Factorial’s Solstice platform with Mitsui’s sulfide solid electrolyte technology and push mass production. Factorial said it aims to strengthen materials supply for Solstice and lay the groundwork for global scale-up. It has also expanded orders and partnerships with automakers and other industries.

Tesla design chief says next-generation Roadster coming \'soon\' again
Tesla design chief Franz von Holzhausen said again that the next-generation Roadster will come out \"soon\" but did not provide a specific launch schedule or specifications. The remarks came on an episode of \'Jay Leno\'s Garage\'. The Roadster has faced years of delays since Tesla unveiled a prototype in 2017 and promised production in 2020. A key variable is a SpaceX cold gas thruster package. Founders Series reservation holders have yet to receive cars.

Ripple\'s XRP officially launches on Solana
Ripple\'s XRP has launched on Solana as an official cross-chain asset, appearing on the network in wrapped form, Cryptopolitan reported. Solana announced the official inclusion of XRP on X. The new XRP was released in cooperation with Ripple and Hex Trust and is similar in structure to WBNB and wrapped ether. It can trade across Solana venues including Phantom wallet, Jupiter DEX and Meteora.
