Hanwha Qcells wins 200 MW solar module and EPC order for Meta
Hanwha Solution’s Qcells unit said on Sunday it signed a contract with U.S. renewable energy developer Zelestra Energy to supply solar modules and provide engineering, procurement and construction for a 200-megawatt solar power plant in Gibson County, Indiana. It will supply about 320,000 modules. Power produced after completion, expected by the end of 2027, will be used by Meta under a power purchase agreement.

Hanwha Solutions issues 300 billion won RCPS, securitises 340 billion won more AMPC
Hanwha Solutions is speeding up measures to fill a funding gap after cutting the size of its rights offering. The company said on Wednesday it issued 300 billion won worth of redeemable convertible preferred shares through its Qcells unit’s U.S. EPC business entity. It also recently securitised $220.3 million, or about 340 billion won, of advanced manufacturing production tax credits for 2025 and 2026, early-monetising the full amount received for 2025.

Hanwha Solutions sells 200 billion won AMPC securitisation
Hanwha Solutions said on May 21 it recently sold about 200 billion won ($130 million) of the Advanced Manufacturing Production Credit (AMPC) it received last year to a third party. It plans to continue accelerating early cash conversion of AMPC to speed up improvements in its financial structure. The AMPC provides tax credits for solar products made in the United States, and the credits can be transferred to third parties.
