On-device AI has big potential in law, Spotted Draft raises funding from Qualcomm
Spotted Draft has raised $8 million from Qualcomm Ventures and will expand its on-device contract review technology, TechCrunch reported. The investment values the company at $380 million, nearly double its valuation after a $56 million Series B round last year. It developed a VerifAI workflow designed to run contract review locally on laptops using Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite. The company plans to expand across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India.
