President Shuntaro Furukawa said the company is reviewing factors that directly affect profitability, including procurement terms, cost reductions through mass production, exchange rates and tariffs. He avoided specific comments on possible price changes, calling them hypothetical, but acknowledged that a 145 percent U.S. tariff and other external factors could have negative effects globally, including in Japan.
