Dinotisia raises 90 billion won in Series A to step up AI storage business
Dinotisia, an AI storage specialist, has raised 90 billion won in Series A funding to expand its vector database and dedicated semiconductor business. Elohim Partners led the round, joined by multiple new institutional investors and follow-on participation from existing backers. The company is developing the Seahorse vector database and a Vector Data Processing Unit chip. It plans to use the funds to upgrade products, prepare VDPU commercialization, expand globally and hire talent, while pursuing an IPO.

Upstage raises 180 billion won in first close of Series C round
Upstage said on April 15 it has completed the first close of a Series C funding round totaling 180 billion won. The fundraising valued the company at more than 1 trillion won. Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm Sages Partners joined as the lead investor, while Premier Partners, Shinhan Venture Investment, Mirae Asset Venture Investment, KB Securities and InterVest participated as follow-on investors. Axiom Asia, Hyundai Motor and Kia, and Woori Venture Partners joined as new investors.

LabradorLabs completes 14.5 billion won Series B funding round
Software supply chain security company LabradorLabs said on Monday it has raised 14.5 billion won in a Series B funding round. Shinhan Venture Investment, DS Asset Management, POSCO Technology Investment, Stonebridge Ventures, Korea Asset, Tkain Investment and Novosec Investment participated as major investors. The company plans to use the funds to secure key technologies, recruit talent and expand in global markets, mainly North America.
