Startup growth partner D.Camp said on Friday it has also wrapped up its D-Day event to share results from batch 1 startups and to pursue follow-on investment and strategic partnerships.

At the D-Day event, D.Camp CEO Park Young-hoon (박영훈) shared one year of operating results under the D.Camp 2.0 framework. He also presented the growth process and significance of batch 1.

Batch 1 companies that took the stage included Next Edition, Meisters, Bind, Cabbage, Oneselfworld and Petpharm. Next Edition, co-led by Woojin Yoon and Dongsu Kim, operates Campfit, an all-in-one outdoor platform providing camping reservation services. It achieved 3.5 billion won in sales last year. It also recorded 6 million annual users and transaction volume of 133.6 billion won.

Meisters, led by Hongjun Cheon, expanded its blue-collar service digital transformation (OS) platform “Gisulseojadeul” from an engineer dispatch model to a structure that also covers external engineers. It posted 26.8 billion won in sales as of last year.

Bind, led by Si-hwa Kim, operates “Athler,” a high-sensitivity fashion commerce platform based on the tastes of men aged 35 and older. It achieved 14.0 billion won in sales last year, and its monthly transaction volume grew 350 percent from a year earlier. Cabbage, led by Hyeonju Choi, operates “Uglies,” an ESG grocery brand based on direct distribution of misshapen agricultural produce. It focused last year on profitability-driven business upgrades, including logistics efficiency and cost-structure improvements, and improved its contribution margin by about 5 percent.

Oneselfworld, led by Chang-hyun Cho, develops “MyB,” an integrated digital marketing platform that uses hyper-personalized identification data. It recorded 6.0 billion won in sales last year, up more than 1,500 percent from a year earlier. Petpharm, led by Seonghan Yoon, a pet medicine-focused e-commerce business based on an animal pharmacy distribution network, is also gradually expanding its business scope centered on its own brand “Vetobe.”

D.Camp said the event focused on serving as a “strategic business platform” for startups and partner companies to pursue cooperation, moving away from a simple presentation-style demo day.

About 300 people attended, including officials from venture capital firms such as A Ventures, STIC Ventures and Shinhan Venture Investment, along with large-company corporate venture capital units and related institutions. They discussed concrete cooperation possibilities based on the batch companies’ results.

D.Camp said it plans to actively review follow-on investment and provide practical seed support for the sustainable growth of promising startups.

Park said, “This D-Day is also a strategic business platform that shares with the market the results of the intense growth of batch 1 startups and meets partners for a new leap.” He added, “We will continue to focus all our capabilities so that D-Day can become the most powerful stage connecting promising startups and investors.”

D.Camp will begin recruiting for batch 7 from Feb. 9. In April, it plans to hold “Batch 2 D-Day,” centered on deep-tech, materials, parts and equipment, and cleantech startups at the pre-Series A and Series A stages.
