ChatGPT users flock to Claude but disappointed by tight usage limits
Some users moved from OpenAI\'s ChatGPT to Anthropic\'s Claude after OpenAI\'s cooperation with the U.S. Defense Department became known. Claude’s user base rose rapidly, including 1.1 million downloads in the United States in February, up 240 percent from the previous month, and more than 1 million new sign-ups a day. New users, however, say Claude’s usage limits are stricter than expected, even on the $20 monthly plan, with higher allowances requiring a $100 plan.
