111Percent said on Wednesday it won a partial first-instance ruling in a lawsuit against New Normal Soft over alleged infringement of its mobile game \"Luck-Driven Zone Many Game\". The Seoul Central District Court\'s 63rd civil division ruled New Normal Soft engaged in unfair competition and ordered it to pay 557 million won in damages plus delay interest. The dispute centered on claims that New Normal Soft\'s 2024 release copied gameplay and user interface elements.

Smilegate loses first trial in IPO failure damages suit, ordered to pay 100 billion won
Smilegate lost a first-instance damages lawsuit over the failed initial public offering of Smilegate RPG. The Seoul Central District Court ruled for Mirae Asset Securities and ordered Smilegate to pay 100 billion won plus delayed-payment interest at an annual rate of 12 percent from Dec. 8, 2023 until full payment, and to bear litigation costs. The dispute centers on accounting treatment of conversion rights and whether an IPO obligation lapsed.

NCSoft seeks asset seizure and damages over Lineage private servers
NCSoft said on Monday it is taking legal action against operators of illegal private servers for its Lineage game, accusing them of copyright infringement and causing user harm. The company said the Seoul Central District Court approved its request for a provisional seizure of bank accounts linked to four private servers: Love, Skull, Lightning and Aura. NCSoft said it is also pursuing a damages lawsuit against the operators.
