Comtus Holdings proposes standard for won stablecoin transfer network at Open Blockchain DID Association

Comtus Holdings said on March 10 it presented on standardising a transfer network for won stablecoins at a technical seminar during the Open Blockchain & DID Association\'s inaugural general meeting. Executive director Jong-cheol Jang stressed the need for the standard and proposed a joint proof of concept with member firms. The proposal focuses on infrastructure for safe circulation, including user protection, privacy-focused systems and AML monitoring.

Parameta to offer free consulting on stablecoins and STOs

Web3 enabler Parameta said on Feb. 23 it will run a free one-on-one consulting program for companies preparing stablecoin and security token offering (STO) businesses. The company said it designed the program to help firms build more stable digital asset business structures. The consulting will cover business planning and infrastructure strategy, including proposals on business models, digital asset structures, wallet and operating infrastructure, and expansion roadmaps.

SBI Holdings seeks controlling stake in Singapore crypto exchange Coinhako

SBI Holdings has signed a letter of intent to acquire a stake in Singapore cryptocurrency exchange Coinhako, Cointelegraph reported. The transaction will be carried out through SBI Ventures Asset. Once completed, SBI Holdings will become Coinhako\'s controlling shareholder and plans to fold it into a wholly owned subsidiary after regulatory approval. Chairman Yoshitaka Kitao said the deal is part of a strategy to build global infrastructure spanning digital assets, securities and stablecoins.
