FSS warns of scam impersonating Dunamu\'s GIWA blockchain network
South Korea\'s Financial Supervisory Service issued a consumer alert after scammers used a fake blockchain network impersonating Dunamu\'s GIWA to steal digital assets. The regulator said the group spread false claims of a surprise mainnet launch and mimicked technical details such as RPC addresses, chain IDs and bridges to mislead users. It urged users to verify announcements on official developer channels and to suspect bridges or smart contracts claiming support for unreleased networks.

Korea Investment Securities expands BanKIS new customer benefits
Korea Investment Securities will expand benefits for new customers using its non-face-to-face account opening service BanKIS, including an investment credit. From August, first-time BanKIS account openers will receive 20,000 won that can be used to buy domestic shares, in addition to the existing offer of two shares randomly selected from KOSPI200 constituents. The benefit also applies to accounts opened through partner platforms.

NH Investment & Securities halts margin trading again after two days as credit limit reached
NH Investment & Securities suspended new margin-trading purchases on March 12, just two days after resuming the service, citing exhaustion of its credit-provision limit. The brokerage said margin-trading loans will be halted from that day until further notice, while stock borrowing and lending-related short sales remain available. Under the Capital Markets Act, total credit provision by an integrated financial investment business operator must not exceed 100 percent of its equity capital.
