CMF unveils ultralight open-ear earbuds Clip Pro at $99
CMF has unveiled its first open-ear earbuds, the Clip Pro, priced at $99 and set to go on sale on Aug. 15. The earbuds use an open-ear design that hooks outside the ear rather than sealing the ear canal, and focus on comfort with a three-point clip structure and a 5.9-gram weight per unit. They include a case-based smart dial, multiple codecs, dual Bluetooth and IP54-rated protection.

Visa, Brale launch stablecoin institutional payments pilot on Canton Network
Visa and Brale have started a proof-of-concept on the Canton Network for stablecoin-based settlement of institutional payments. The test uses SBC, a dollar-pegged token issued by Brale, to assess institutional payment flows on blockchain infrastructure that supports privacy. The aim is to evaluate whether financial institutions and payment firms can implement fast, programmable settlement while directly controlling how much sensitive transaction data is disclosed.

Acoustune unveils USB-C audio dongle for iPhone supporting LDAC and aptX Lossless
Acoustune has unveiled a USB-C wireless dongle for iPhone called the ATX001 that enables LDAC and aptX Lossless use. TechRadar reported on May 29 that the device adds Bluetooth audio codecs not supported by Apple by default, expanding iPhone wireless audio options. The dongle supports AAC, SBC, aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD and aptX Lossless. It is priced at $75 and is controlled mainly through a smartphone app.
