Hancom Lifecare strikes series of partnerships with French defense and robotics firms
Hancom Lifecare, a Hancom Group affiliate specialising in defense and safety equipment, signed a series of strategic partnerships with French companies. At Eurosatory 2026 in Paris, it signed an MOU with CBRN protection firm OUVRY SAS and an additional agreement with unmanned ground robot maker Shark Robotics. The OUVRY deal focuses on CBRN personal protective equipment for South Korea’s defense market, while cooperation with Shark Robotics will expand from firefighting to defense unmanned ground systems.

SAS says 50 years of industry expertise sets it apart in AI data platform race
SAS is differentiating its AI data platform offerings with industry-focused experience and governance capabilities amid intensifying competition among major software firms. Deepak Ramanathan said SAS builds applications to solve sector-specific problems rather than selling a platform. The company is promoting its synthetic data solution Data Maker and its enterprise AI governance platform SAS AI Navigator. SAS also upgraded its cloud-based Viya platform and expanded integration with external data platforms.

SAS expands integration with external data platforms, says it supports analytics where data resides
Analytics software company SAS is expanding integration with major external data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. Jared Peterson, SAS\' senior vice president of global engineering, said the focus is to bring SAS analytics capabilities directly into data platforms that SAS Viya users already use. SAS also introduced SAS SpeedyStore to support analysis where data resides without moving it elsewhere. Integration with Databricks began in mid-2025.
