Boston Dynamics to deploy Atlas robot at Hyundai Motor plant within two years
U.S. robot developer Boston Dynamics plans to deploy its humanoid robot Atlas at a Hyundai Motor plant within two years, highlighting the robot’s ability to learn new tasks quickly. CEO Robert Playter said Atlas must meet several milestones, including being able to perform new tasks within a day or two. Atlas is a 6-foot, 200-pound biped that Hyundai plans to place at its Ellabell, Georgia plant by 2028.
