AWS CEO says skills learned now will not work in future, workers must keep adapting in AI era
Matt Garman, chief executive of Amazon Web Services, said the spread of artificial intelligence will change every company and job, requiring new entrants to the labour market to keep learning and adapting. Speaking at a conference in San Francisco, he said the scale of change will be large and that it is not yet time to doubt AI’s impact. He said some highly valued AI startups will fail, while others will become major companies over the next decade.
